Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) - Interesting Information
The next few weeks we are putting together “Intersesting Information” posts regarding the actors of Prison Break and Wentworth aka Michael is our first intstallment.
Born in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England, raised in Brooklyn, New York, and a graduate of Princeton University.
After graduating from college with a 4 year degree in Literature, Miller headed to California (Los Angeles) in the spring of 1995 to work in the development department of a small production company specializing in movies that are made for televisiononly.
About His Family:
Mother Roxann, was a special ed teacher, and his father was a teacher of Law.
His two sisters are now also in the family law business following in dad’s footsteps.
When he was Born:
At the age of one his family moved to Park Slope in Brooklyn, New York (not far from (Yankee Stadium where the best team in baseball plays).
Citizenship:
He hasa dual citizenship but always says how the United States is his true home.
The family has a very diverse background, his father African-American, Jamaican, English, German, Jewish and Cherokee descent, and his mother is of Russian, French, Dutch, Syrian and Lebanese descent. Wow that is the most diverse family I have ever heard of!
High School:
Wentworth was a straight A student in high school and was part of many of the clubs including Media.
College:
He attended Princeton University for college. He was the cartoonist for the school newspaper and a memeber of The Princeton Tigertones, where he sang baritone.
Now:
Wentworth keeps to himself and is known to be a very private person who likes to spend time just relaxing at home when he’s not working. He enjoys swimming in his pool, reading newspapers and books and enjoys going out to eat on a regular basis
